Job Description

VAS Spectrometers is seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join its R&D team focused on Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) systems. The role involves end-to-end electronic design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of high-precision analytical instruments used in metal analysis across industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop analog, digital, and power electronic circuits for OES systems.
  • Work on signal conditioning, sensor interfaces, and high-voltage excitation systems.
  • Collaborate with optics, software, and mechanical teams for system integration.
  • Perform debugging, validation, and reliability testing of electronic modules.
  • Support production, calibration, and service teams with technical expertise.
  • Participate in continuous product improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
Educational Qualifications
  • B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics design for industrial or analytical instruments.
  • Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and power electronics.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB design, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, ADC/DACs, and communication protocols.
  • Understanding of EMI/EMC compliance and industrial safety standards.
